Annual Meeting & Picnic

5:30-7:00 pm, Saturday, July 10, 2004
Tri-County Marina, Lynch Station, VA
The meeting agenda will include:

Speaker-Theresa Rogers of American Electric Power
Speaker-Bill Brush of Smith Mountain Lake Association to talk about water flow discharge rates from the dams into the Lake and the Staunton River
Speaker-Glen Haskins (tentative) overseer of skimmer operations for AEP
Speaker-Department of Environmental Quality (tentative)
Reports from standing committees
Election of one year board members
Comments and input from meeting attendees

Other notes and activities:

The first 30 arrivals will receive free Leesville Lake clean up day T-shirts (no guarantee of sizes)
The meeting includes a picnic. The Association will provide beverages, hamburgers, hotdogs and all condiments. Bring your favorite side dish or dessert. The Association is looking for old pontoon boats to use as barges (to be towed behind other boats) for lake clean up. The boats will be stripped down to the deck and floaters-no engines or seats needed If you know the whereabouts of any of these vessels please call Sam Skillman at (434) 309-9988 or e-mail slskillman3@aol.com
