Volunteer Opportunities
Opportunities in red need volunteers.
Newsletter
- Printing
- Print newsletter on the Association's printer. Approximately 800 newsletters are sent out each quarter.
- Collating
- A group of neighbors organize to help with collating and folding before mailing.
- Submit Article
- Write an article for the newsletter.
- Editor
- Compile articles for the newsletter and prepare layout.
- Advertisements
- Seek sponsors for the newsletter.
Water Quality
- Water Testing
- Test water samples.
- Water Sampling
- Obtain water samples and make instrument readings from your boat.
- Attend Meetings
- Attend third party meetings such as DEQ, or AEP public meetings.

- Beautification Day
- Organize your Neighbors to clean-up along your shore lines
- Every Day
- Organize your Neighbors to clean-up along your shore lines
Mile Markers
- Over Growth
- Cut limbs and brush from arround the mile markers to improve their visability.
This job needs to be done on an annual basis or every two years.
- Inspection
- Inspect for damage or overgrowth, and errosion etc.

Membership
- Gathering names
- Get names and addresses of prospective members. That would include lake residents and land owners.
Names of new property owners can be gotton from the counties websites from time to time.
- Keeping List of Members
- Maintain list of names , address, and contact information on members.
Also keep a list of prospective members.

- Committee Member
- Committee members do not have to be members of the board.
Any member in good standing can serve on a committee.
